Skateboarders Paradise

As from today the arts and music venue Gaite Lyrique is opening its doors to skateboarders. There is a whole programme of activities scheduled until the 7th August which explore skateboard culture. According to the website Public Domain is the name of a film about skateboarding which was made in the eighties and was directed by Stacy Peralta, it completely revolutionised the aesthetic and image of the recreational sport. The exhibition includes concerts, events and film projections and there's a whole range of things to explore at Gaite Lyrique including a library for those who are interested in the arts and design.
